The nominee must be a CPA, be a member of the Nebraska So- ciety of CPAs, and be in good standing with the profession. Selection of the award recipient is made by a five-member com- mittee of Society members and approved by the Society Board of Directors. NEBRASKA SOCIETY OF CPAs RECOGNIZES DANIEL KORALESKI 2018 Public Service Award The Nebraska Society of CPAs honored Daniel F. Koraleski for his outstanding work and leadership with Omaha’s charitable, civic, and non-profit communities during the Society’s annual meeting, held Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Embassy Suites in La Vista, Neb. Koraleski, an audit partner in KPMG’s Omaha, Neb., office, was the recipient of the Society’s 2018 Public Service Award. Koraleski has more than 30 years of experience specializing in providing service to health- care, not-for-profit, manufacturing and engineering, and construction organizations. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, has been a Society member since 1987, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. An auditor for more than three decades, Koraleski has served as the lead partner on audits for numerous companies spanning several industries including a large multinational For- tune 500 construction company. Another partner in the KPMG Omaha office had this to say: “Dan has been a great partner to have. He develops real relationships with both his clients and his team.
