He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has more than nine years of accounting experience. Alexandra S. Bruening has been promoted to senior director of finance at The Strawhecker Group (TSG), an Omaha-based payments consultancy. She has also been named to the TSG Board of Directors. Wendy R. Cooley has been admitted to the partnership at Seim Johnson, LLP in Omaha. Cooley graduated from Midland University in Fremont and has been with the firm for 15 years. Sarah C. Griger has been promoted to audit manager of Seim Johnson, LLP in Omaha. Griger graduated fromCreighton University with degrees in accounting and business management. She has been with the firm since 2014. JaclynM. Jacox has been promoted to health care consulting senior manager at Seim Johnson, LLP in Omaha. Jacox joined the firm in 2015 and has more than eight years of experience. Jeffrey D. Janda has joined CFO Systems’ Omaha office. Janda has been in private and public accounting for more than 30 years. John L. Kopecky has joined CFOSystems’ Kansas City team. Kopecky’s background is in banking and helping troubled institutions. Marcy J. Luth has been appointed by Governor Pete Ricketts to serve a second, four-year termon the Nebraska Board of PublicAccountancy representing Nebraska’s Third Congressional District. Luth is a shareholder in the Grand Island firm of Almquist, Maltzahn, Galloway & Luth, PC.
