The waiver shall be in writing and separately stated in the contract of sale or in an attachment thereto and separately signed by the consumer. 301A Used Car "As Is" Disclosure As part of the requirement to waive the used car lemon law, a customer must also sign this form to acknowledge that the vehicle is being sold as is. FEDERAL NOTICES – REQUIRED 107-B/NB65-3/ ODOM103N-3 Odometer Statement Federal and State law requires that a seller state the mileage upon transfer of ownership of a vehicle. Failure to complete the form, or if a false statement is provided, may result in fines and/or imprisonment. BG2017 Buyer’s Guide The Federal Used Car Rule requires that a Buyer’s Guide be displayed on every used vehicle that is offered for sale. STATE FORMS – REQUIRED 112 ST-10 MV Sales & Use Tax Exempt Report The ST-10 is required to document the sale where every non-resident does not pay New Jersey Sales Tax. Every ST-10 must be sent to the New Jersey Division of Taxation. 150B New Car Lemon Law Notice New Jersey law requires that, upon the sale or lease of a new vehicle, the customer must be given this notice in at least 10-point type and in English and Spanish, which contains specific disclosures and a summary of rights. 222 Dealer’s Representation of Title & Lien Satisfaction N.J.S.A. 39:10-9 requires every dealer, upon the sale of a used vehicle, to give notice that the dealer has the right to obtain and transfer title to the vehicle and that all liens noted on the Certificate of Title have been satisfied. 584 Addendum To Retail Order Form New Jersey law requires that if a customer waives the New Jersey Inspection Warranty, a dealer must disclose in writing any “known defects” that would cause a vehicle to fail New Jersey Inspection. DLF Driver’s License Flyer New Jersey law requires a dealer to issue this flyer to every person who purchases or leases a motor vehicle. NJLW New Jersey Lease Waiver Form The New Jersey Consumer Protection Leasing Act requires any waiver of the 24-hour business day review period to be in writing.
