Talbert, who joined the bank in April, previously served since 2012 at Bank of America in Albuquerque as senior vice president and consumer markets manager. Prior to this position, he served five years at First Community Bank as executive vice president in charge of operations and technology. From 1999 to 2007, he served at Citi Cards. He began his financial career in 1989. Talbert will oversee all aspects of the bank aside from lending, including technology, bookkeeping, teller operations, and custo- mer service. Paul Mondragon Bank of Albuquerque is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Mondragon to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager in the consumer banking division. In this role, he will be responsible for the oversight of 15 Bank of Albuquerque branch locations. Mondragon joined Bank of Albuquerque in March 2002, as manager of the Alameda West office. He was then promoted in 2007 to Vice President and District Manager in consumer admin- istration. Prior to joining Bank of Albuquerque, Mondragon worked with Bank of the West in consumer banking. Mondragon holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Universi - ty of New Mexico. Robert Ortega Los Alamos National Bank has named Robert Ortega vice presi - dent of mortgage loans in Santa Fe. A native of Santa Fe, Ortega has served as a mortgage loan offi - cer with Los Alamos National Bank since joining in 2012 and in the mortgage industry since 1982. Jan R. Thiry BANK’34, Alamogordo, has hired Jan R. Thiry as senior vice pres - ident/CFO Thiry has over 35 years of experience with Wisconsin and Illi - nois financial institutions and multibank holding companies with responsibilities including audit manager, controller, and chief accounting officer. He began his career with a Big 4 public ac - counting firm. Immediately prior to joining BANK’34, he served three years as a consultant specializing in SEC reporting, investor relations, GAAP interpretation, M&A accounting, and financial analysis with multi-national industrial corporations in the Chica - go area. Thiry is a CPA and holds an MBA degree in finance from the Uni - versity of Wisconsin and a BS degree in managerial systems and accounting from University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. John S. Gulas John S. Gulas has been appointed CEO of Los Alamos National Bank (LANB), Los Alamos, NM, and president/CEO of Trinity Cap - ital Corporation (TCC), the bank’s holding company. He was also appointed a member of the boards of directors of LANB and TCC. Gulas has over 26 years of banking and financial services expe - rience. Prior to joining LANB and TCC, he was President/CEO of Farmers National Banc Corporation, Canfield, OH, a position he held since July 2010. From July 2008 to 2010, he served as Farm - ers’ COO. From 2005 to 2007, he was President/CEO of Sky Trsut Co., N.A., also in Ohio. He has served as an executive officer with Wachovia and Key Bank. Gulas is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a BA de - gree and The University of Toledo with a Juris Doctor degree. U.S. Bank The Private Client Group of U.S. Bank in New Mexico has hired three teammembers- Vangie Lopez, Sandra Williams and Liz Earls. They all work at the U.S. Bank office located at 111 Lomas Blvd. NW in downtown Albuquerque. Lopez has been named a community private banking client rep - resentative. She is responsible for working directly with the Pri - vate Client Group and high net worth clients specifically in banking deposit and loan support. A New Mexico native, Lopez has been working in the services industry in Albuquerque and Santa Fe for more than 17 years. Williams is a community trust private client representative. She has been working in the financial services industry since 2011, with the previous 10 years serving locally as a fiduciary administrative assistant in the areas of trust administration and investment man - agement. Earls joins the group as an assistant relationship manager. She is responsible for aiding in the management of loan portfolios, as well as assisting with retaining, maintaining, and developing client relationships for The Private Client Group. She has been working in the financial services industry for eight years. Earls earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the R.O. Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Los Alamos National Bank Los Alamos National Bank, Los Alamos, has reported the naming of four branch managers to the vice president level. Pamela Mayfield is the manager at the downtown Santa Fe branch. She has more than 24 years with the bank. Michelle Padilla is the manager at the Galisteo Street Branch in Santa Fe. She has more than 20 years with the bank. Amanda Pierce is the manager at the Cerrillos Road Branch in Santa Fe. She has more than 15 years with the bank. Amy Vigil is the manager of the White Rock Branch. She has more than 18 years with the bank.
