Her- rington joined Bank of Albuquerque in 2005 as part of the Accelerated Ca- reer Track program, a rotational de- velopment training program for col- lege graduates. After completing the program, he spent two years in the consumer bank before moving to the commercial banking division, later rising to the role of corporate bank- ing relationship manager. In 2017, he moved to the commercial real estate group, where he has spent the last three years. Herrington has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico. He is also currently a member of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of New Mexico, commercial real estate de- velopment association NAIOP New Mexico chapter, and the New Mexico chapter of RMA. James Crotty Named Bank 34 CEO and President James T. Crotty is the new Pres- ident and CEO of Bancorp and Bancorp 34. Mr. Crotty has spent the last 16 years of his career at KBW advising and working with communi- ty banks on various strategic initia- tives. Jim’s primary focus has been on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raising (includ- ing mutual to stock conversions and IPO’s), branch and asset purchases and divestitures and overall strate- gic planning initiatives. During his tenure at KBW, Mr. Crotty has been intimately involved in over 90 M&A and capital raising transactions. Be- fore his time at KBW, Jim served as a software engineer and consultant for a software development firm. He is a graduate of Miami Uni- versity in Ohio, where he majored in Management Information Systems (MIS) with a minor in Finance. Mr. Crotty has been a fre- quent speaker at several different state banking associations, BKD banking symposiums and Financial Managers Society events. He holds a series 7 and 63 securities license. Crotty joined Bank 34 in July 2020 as Co-President and Co-chief exec- utive officer.
