The NCADA Board of Directors traveled to Washington, D.C., this spring for two days of meetings, briefings and firsthand conversations with the people writing the rules that affect North Carolina dealers. Board members met in D.C. to receive updates on issues facing North Carolina’s franchised dealers and to set NCADA’s priorities for the months ahead. Representatives from the National Automobile Dealers Association briefed the Board on the FTC’s recent warning letters regarding dealer advertising and discussed available resources as advertising requirements continue to shift. In addition, members of Congress joined the Board and shared an update on where things stand in Washington on the issues affecting North Carolina businesses and the automotive industry. Afterward, the Board was treated to a late-night, after-hours tour of the U.S. Capitol by Congressman Tim Moore.
