NCADA PRESIDENT JOHN POLICASTRO RECEIVES AENC’S BOB SLOCUM AWARD Honored for Outstanding Advocacy President John Policastro has received the 2026 Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC) Bob Slocum Award for Outstanding Government Affairs & Advocacy. The Slocum Award recognizes association professionals who advance their organization’s mission through government relations, and it is awarded by peers who run other associations and know exactly how hard the work is. John was recognized for his advocacy on behalf of North Carolina’s franchised automobile, truck and RV dealers. Since joining NCADA, John has built relationships with elected officials, policymakers, industry leaders and association partners, drawing on more than 20 years in association leadership and government affairs. Advocacy is the center of what this association does. The award reflects the ongoing work of NCADA’s members, leadership and advocacy team as much as it does any one person.
